Chante started pageants at the age of 7 and has since won hundreds to her name including ‘Little Miss SA 2004’, Gold medalist in modeling at The world performing arts in Los Angeles, USA (2005) and ‘Miss SA teen 2009’ .

In 2010 she represented South Africa, becoming the first South African and African to win , the international event “Miss Teenager Universe 2010 “which took place in Costa Rica.

Although incredible opportunities arose at this time in South America which required her to relocate ,she decided to come back to South Africa to finish her matric and further pursue her studies hence her strong notion on the importance of education and having ‘beauty with a purpose’.

INTRODUCTION TO TV

Entering the working and media world, Chanté was a KTV Presenter on MNET from the age of 14. She described working on the kids channel as an overwhelming and incredible experience and it was then that she discovered her passion for TV. In 2011, Kaya FM Radio, nominated her as being one of the top 3 Young South Africans to look out for in the future/ In 2012, she was voted on VUZU TV list of the Top 5 beauty queens of South Africa.

She went on to host numerous events and galas ( both internationally and locally ) as an MC and live TV presenter and subsequently the world of acting – , BFG awards , Youth SA awards ,(SAMAs) South African Music Awards 2010 , 2016 Ekurhuleni Press club of the Newly elected municipal mayor to name a few. She went on to persue her acting career in 2016.

CHANTE CARES

IN 2018 Chante initiated her own charity drive #ChanteCharityChallenge which includes sponsoring school shoes and educational packs to Mamelodi Primary School, Child care and food to an infant orphanage and revamping of a home for the mentally challenged.

For Africa Day , 25 May 2018, Chante conducted a self-funded feeding day at primary Schools in the South of Johannesburg. Over 5000 children were fed.

in 2019 Chante began the process of the formation and launch for her foundation : Chante Care
